As a result of the combined efforts of Altrusa International, Inc. Montgomery County and Altrusa International, Inc. of Washington, DC Add-An-Altursan Day Tea was a great success. The Montgomery County Club initiated six (6) new members. The Washington, DC Club had one (1) new recruit. The Tea was an all hands on deck event with every Altrusan participating.

Altrusa International of Wausau, WI, observed its 70th anniversary of service to the Wausau area recently. Also offering congrulations were State Rep. Donna Seidel and Marathon County Administrator Brad Karger shown with Gayle Tesch. Eleven past presidents of the club were among the guests at the event which included violin music by Robin McDowell of the Wausau Conservatory of Music during the social hour, dinner, a video of past Altrusa events and recollections of 1939.
