Members of the Saginaw, Michigan Club showed off hand puppets during a special tour of the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum. The Mid-Michigan Children's Museum opened June 1, 2008. During the planning and construction phase, Saginaw Altrusans set aside money each budget year to assist with a special project. The Club has plans to maintain the puppets and books as an ongoing service endeavor.

Altrusa International of Wausau, WI, observed its 70th anniversary of service to the Wausau area recently. Also offering congrulations were State Rep. Donna Seidel and Marathon County Administrator Brad Karger shown with Gayle Tesch. Eleven past presidents of the club were among the guests at the event which included violin music by Robin McDowell of the Wausau Conservatory of Music during the social hour, dinner, a video of past Altrusa events and recollections of 1939.
