From a tiny nut, mighty oaks grow!!

With your support, our great organization will grow and be sustained for the future.

At the International Convention, the budget was approved by the delegates.  The budget included funding for a marketing and branding campaign for the organization, which is deemed essential to Altrusa’s existence in the future.  As current finances stand this campaign must be supported from the Reserve Funds of the organization.

Recognizing the significance and importance of this campaign, the fifty plus Past District  Governors in attendance at their special luncheon, agreed that we, the members of Altrusa, must supply the support for our beloved organization!  PIG’s (Past International Governors, as they were dubbed by the hosting Past International President (PIP) Phyllis Corman) began jumping to their feet pledging $$$’s in support.

The challenge for contributions and pledges was passed on to the entire Convention Body!!  Throughout the remainder of the Convention, updates were given regarding the amount collected or pledged.  By the time the Convention was complete the amount had reached a remarkable $16,000!!!

Now the challenge is going out to every Altrusa member, local Altrusa club, and District of the organization.  We are asking for donations or pledges to the MARKETING FUND to support the branding and marketing efforts of our organization.  Donations and pledges will be applied toward reducing the amount taken from the International Reserves in order to finance this crucial undertaking.

Members, please consider making a donation for our future!  Local Altrusa clubs, your support could insure our organization stays vital for many years to come!  Altrusa District Governors, please ask your Boards look at reserves you may be holding.  Your District’s investment could keep Altrusa alive and vibrant!! With your support, and commitment from all to tell the Altrusa story we will succeed in growing our organization into a mighty oak.
 
We encourage you to make an on-line contribution using your credit card.  We are are also happy to accept checks made payble to Altrusa International, Inc. and mailed to our International office in Chicago at 332 S. Michigan Ave, Suite 1123, Chicago, Illinois, 60604.  Please be aware this donation will be made from your love of Altrusa and is not tax deductible as Altrusa International, Inc. is not a 501 (c) (3) entity.
