Altrusa's International Office in Chicago, Illinois, handles the
day-to-day administration of the Association and Foundation. Its primary
purpose is to assist Altrusans and their Clubs carry out the purposes
and objectives of the organization.
The office staff is available to answer your questions and assist in
any way possible. Hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (CST),
Monday through Friday.
Sandra Jablonski, Association Manager - Altrusa International, Inc.
Sandy Jablonski has been a member of Altrusa International for 30 years
and in November 2013 became its Association Manager. As a member, she
experienced serving all levels of the organization including as
International Membership Chair, District Board Director, Club Treasurer
and the first President of Altrusa International of Blair County, PA.
She brings a wealth of experience in non-profit management, financial
management, strategic planning, project management, strategic alliance
building, and the training and development of staff and volunteers. She
holds a Bachelors Degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a
Masters Degree in Education from James Madison University.
Sandy enjoys sports, long walks with her dog, and playing the trombone in community bands.
Tanika Wilson, Director of Member Services - Altrusa International, Inc.
A native of Chicago, Tanika Wilson first started with Altrusa International, Inc. in 2000. Previously, she worked for the American Medical Association. She
graduated from National Louis University where she earned a Master of Business Administration.
Tanika is a member of the Association Forum of Chicago. She enjoys planting flowers and creating new recipes from scratch.
Adriana Mena, Finance Director - Altrusa International, Inc.
Adriana Mena is a recent graduate of Illinois State
University, where she received a Bachelor in International
Business along with a minor in French. While in college, she had the
opportunity to study abroad in France for a semester, and was fortunate
to serve as an intern at the Quebec delegation in Chicago.
coming to Altrusa, she worked as an office manager for a team of medical
physicians. One of her many strengths is the ability to communicate
fluently in English and Spanish.
is newly married and will celebrate their 2nd anniversary in August.
They enjoy traveling together and cooking new dishes.
Shawna Kaiser, Foundation Coordinator - Altrusa International Foundation, Inc.
Kaiser is the Foundation Coordinator for the Altrusa International
Foundation, Inc. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2006
with a Bachelor in Business Administration. After teaching English in
South Korea for a year she moved to Chicago and earned a Master in Arts
of Journalism from DePaul University.
Shawna brings almost four
years nonprofit experience to her position from The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society. She looks forward to further developing the
International Foundation to serve Altrusans and their communities.
Rachel Vandervort, Administrative Assistant - Altrusa International, Inc.
Vandervort started as the Administrative Assistant for Altrusa
International, Inc. in March of 2014. She brings five years experience
in administrative support from her previous position as the Assistant to
the President of a small community bank. Rachel earned her Bachelor of
Arts in Cinema & Media Studies from the University of Chicago. Upon
graduation in 2007 she decided to stay in the city.
In October of
this year, Rachel will be getting married in Barcelona, Spain. She's an
avid runner and hopes to finish a long distance race in the near
